Live & unauthenticated
This hits the real POST /api/calculate. No API key. No published rate limit. Do not treat eval traffic as production.

Who it is for

Marketplaces enriching listings, route apps, and anyone whose LLM currently invents e-bike range.

  • Listing enrichment

A marketplace runs one calculation per model × sample commute and stores km range next to the buy button.

  • Agent tool

An assistant calls the same endpoint instead of hallucinating “up to 120 km” from a spec sheet.

How it works

  1. POST JSON to /api/calculate with GPX plus bike, rider, battery, and optional wind.
  2. Receive RangeResult: estimatedRange, segment consumption, finish time, chargeWarning.
  3. Join the waitlist for an API key, quotas, and a documented rate limit.

Questions

Is the endpoint live today?
Yes. POST /api/calculate accepts GPX and bike fields and returns a RangeResult. There is no API key and no published rate limit yet — treat it as evaluation, not production.
Where is the OpenAPI file?
Not published yet. The request body is documented on this page and exercised in the live console. /.well-known/ai-plugin.json currently points at the calculator POST, not an OpenAPI document.
What does a response include?
estimatedRange, averageConsumption, segmentsConsumption, finishTime, totalTripTimeInSeconds, and optional chargeWarning.
Accuracy?
Same physics as the free calculator: drag, rolling resistance, gradient, motor efficiency, weather when you pass it. Typical rider reports are within a few percent on known routes — not a warranty.
When do keys ship?
With the first paid API plan. Until then the route is unauthenticated. Do not put secrets in the GPX payload; it is processed server-side and not stored as a user account.

Ready for Range API?
